Running on the hamster wheel of creativity is exhausting, but worth the energy. After cleaning up and rearranging my studio for the 100th time, I expected some sort of clarity. Unfortunately that is not how it works. I kept at work. Making comps and trying new supplies. Most things I ended up with I deemed unworthy to appear on my blog...I did uncover my compass and ink nib. A tool that I had completely forgotten about. The piece started here, with graphite and ink circles. Then I added layers of white and black.
Fluorescent pink came into the mix.
I love playing around with familiar media in new ways. I'm so happy with the outcome. Being inspired feels great and I think this might be a wonderful place to head. We will see, as I keep running on the wheel!
