I have no idea what took me so long, but I finally got a water brush! Of course I was too excited to take the photo before I ripped into it... Here is the packaging for reference. It's an empty 'pen' with a brush tip. You unscrew it and fill it with either water or water based ink.The bristles are stiff nylon that hold a nice point but it's large enough for quick washes. I had to gently squeeze to wet the brush but after that, it seemed like the perfect amount of water kept coming. Since the bristles are synthetic they don't absorb the color or stain. After blending the blue watercolor pencil there's barely any blue on the tip. Just a swipe on a paper towel (or the back of your hand...) and it's good to go with the next color.I had so much fun playing with this! The lid makes it great for travel, but I haven't tested it's 'leakproof-ness' yet. I will use it a lot while journaling in bed. At first I didn't think that it would be enough water because it seems so small, but I did all three of the above pages and it doesn't look like I've made a dent.
Overall I'm quite pleased with my $7 investment.
