First up is the TRESemmé Heat Tamer Spray. I've had this same bottle for years and I finally finished it. I honestly don't know how to tell if it works but I do know that it smells amazing and doesn't weigh my hair down. I find it's the best heat protectant to use on dry hair because it's a fine mist that dries quickly. I have already repurchased it!
Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm is ok... I bought it during Sephora friends and family sale so I didn't pay full price. I thought it would be a bit better because I've heard great things about it. I just felt like it never really soaked into my skin. I won't buy it again.
Now this is something I don't hear about in that land of beauty but sometimes we get dandruff, right? With all the products I put in my hair it makes sense that my scalp needs some love. My personal favorite is the JĀSÖN Dandruff Relief Treatment Shampoo. I use it once a week or sometimes I mix it with my other shampoo. It has a minty herbal smell that's not fantastic, but it works wonders at keeping any flakes away.
You wash your makeup brush after every use right? Haha, me neither. But it is important to keep things clean so I always have some CleanWell Natural Hand Sanitizer at my vanity. It's in a spray bottle so it's perfect to spritz my foundation brush. It's alcohol free so it doesn't dry out your bristles or your face!
Ahhh the subject of makeup wipes. Some people love them, others hate them. I have to say I love them and my favorite (so far) is the MAC Wipes because they just work so well for me. I wouldn't use them instead of washing my face because I always wash my face after using any wipe. I just like getting my makeup off and then whatever face wash I use doesn't smear my makeup around while trying to clean my skin. Since the MAC Wipes are on the pricier side ($29 for 100) I'm always trying cheaper options just incase I might like those better. So I picked up the elf Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths ($3 for 20) because I liked their exfoliating ones so much. I was so disappointed. They worked ok but they burned my eyes, even when I wasn't using them on my eyes! I didn't even finish the pack because it wasn't worth the pain.
Last but not least is my favorite body wash! The Naturally Upper Canada Hand & Body Wash in Cranberry Moro Orange. This stuff smells sooooo good and it lathers so nicely. I love that it comes with a pump because we all know that trying to open and close containers in the shower isn't easy.
What have you used up this month? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments!
