Now that it's summer I've been wearing bold lips pretty much every day. There's something about warm weather that demands a hot pink or orange lip. My number one concern with a bright lip is keeping it on my mouth, (duh!) but for the most part lipstick stays put on me. However bright glosses or glossier lipsticks have a tendency to feather or smudge. And wearing a liner changes the color and opacity. Enter the most amazing solution: Milani Anti-Feathering Lip Liner. It's clear and it works better than I could have ever imagined! It kept my OCC Lip Tar from feathering and extending the wear time of my NYX gloss by hours. The best part is that it's only $6!
The second thing I got is the Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. It has a consistency of a hard lip balm and has a light lemon scent. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave my hands greasy or sticky. I can reapply it during the day without having to worry about it getting all over my phone screen or laptop keys. My cuticles look noticeably less dry and I've only been using it for three days!
