Day 15 of the DPP was "words." It was a perfect opportunity to use my word stamps. I really liked this card but then... Oops. I experimented with bubble wrap and I thought it would be much more transparent. You win some, you lose some. That's what is great about doing these ICAD's it's small and not precious. You just move on to the next. The next day was "dictionary love." My junk dictionary is in storage sadly (I've been busy working on getting it here!) so I printed some dictionary snippets. I did some collage and paint. Not too inspired with this so I just left it alone.
Day 17 was "chandelier." I collaged some pretty pink paper and used my Washi tape to make a border. I drew the chandelier with micron on printer paper. The "look at the bright side" is a sticker that came in a school binder decoration set I found at Michael's. I am super pleased with its simplicity.
Day 18 of the DPP is "create an art travel kit." I decided to skip that and I went to this list of prompts. Day 18 there was "faith." Honestly, as you might be able to tell, I just threw this one together. It's whatever. In this push to create art for 61 days I never claimed it would all be good...
Day 19 is "mail art." Tammy's intention was for me to actually mail art, but I decided to use mail in my art.
We've been so busy reorganizing and spring cleaning that I haven't had the same amount of time for working on these ICAD's. I'm still determined to get them done. It's become a wonderful habit already.
